Women's Rights Day Commemoration
On March 8, at the library, the team and users present discussed the meaning of International Women's Rights Day through educational activities, as part of the Foundation's commitment to gender equality and the fight against gender violence.
The children asked questions and discovered the history and current affairs of the world, the country and the region in relation to this commemoration.
They prepared banners, discussed with the team, dressed up in costumes and did a small parade and an activity in the library garden.
In parallel, as part of the peaceful human program, the group of teenage boys dedicated the daily workshop to the theme of this commemoration and considered the forms of support they can provide and their own interest in defending the cause of equality for all.
The local radio and television station produced a report which can be seen below.
